Margarito T. Romero, 72, of Amarillo, died Monday, August 27, 2012.
Rosary will be said at 5:00 PM on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at Chapel of the Angels, Angel Funeral Home. Viewing will be from 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM. Saturday. Arrangements are by Angel Funeral Home, 2209 S. Arthur.
Margarito was born on September 20, 1939 in Santa Rosa, New Mexico to Miguel and Camilla Romero. He served in the Army from 1963-1965. He worked in a meat packing plant most of his life. Margarito was a good man with a big heart who would always make sure his family was cared for.
He was preceded in death by wife, Rita S. Romero and his parents.
He is survived by his three sons, Daniel P. Romero, Benji R. Romero, Ruben L. Romero; a daughter, Ida J. Romero, all of Amarillo; two brothers, Jose Romero of Phoenix, Arizona and Alfredo Romero of Santa Rosa, New Mexico; a sister Polly Paloma of Albuquerque, New Mexico: eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
