Maria Quintanilla

Maria Quintanilla, 101, of Amarillo, passed away October 16, 2021.

Rosary will be said at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at Angel Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 21, 2021 at  Church of the Holy Spirit, 511 S. Austin Ave., Tulia, TX. Interment will follow in Tulia Cemetery. Arrangements are by Angel Funeral Home.

Maria was born September 18, 1920 to Fidel Martinez and Mara de Lena in Corpus Christi, TX.

Maria was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Victor Quintanilla; brothers; Louise Hernandez, Mike Hernandez, Nathaniel Hernandez, Tony Hernandez and Felix Hernandez.

Maria is survived by her sons; Sammy Quintanilla of Amarillo, TX., Manuel Quintanilla of Canyon, TX., Danny Quintanilla of Salem OR; daughter, Marry Mireles of Seattle, WA; sister, Lucy Ramirez of Austin, TX; brother Ernest Hernandez of Shreveport, LA  and many grandchildren.
