Marilyn Brice Whitworth

April 27, 1954 — November 12, 2021

Marilyn Brice (Whitworth), 67, of Amarillo, Texas, passed away Friday, November 12, 2021.

A Memorial service in her honor will be hosted by her family on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Angels at Angel Funeral Home, 2209 South Arthur.

Marilyn was born April 27, 1954 in Des Moines, Iowa. Marilyn was a spunky, no nonsense, blunt person known for her honesty. She was a longtime resident of Channing, Texas and the owner of the Cowgirl Café. She moved away and then returned to reside in Amarillo to be closer to her family.  She was very family-oriented. Her grandchildren were her world, and she loved her son and daughter-in-law with all of her heart. She cherished being with her sister, brother-in-law and her nieces and nephews. She loved with everything she had.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her mother, father, and brother.

She is survived by her son, Paul Ebben, and his wife, Missy, of Amarillo, TX; her sister, Julie Figueroa, and Julie’s husband, Frank, of Channing, TX; and her grandchildren: Keeli Ebben of Amarillo, TX, Alyssa Ebben of Clearfield, UT, and Lauren Ebben of Amarillo, TX; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Thank you to all of the doctors and nurses of BSA who provided wonderful care and compassion to both her and her family. You have our deepest gratitude.
