Marion Leah (Hart) Peralez

Marion Leah (Hart) Peralez, 74, of Amarillo passed away on October 26, 2021.

The family will receive guests from 5pm to 8pm on Monday, November 1, 2021 at Angel Funeral Home, 2209 S. Arthur in Amarillo. Funeral services will take place in the funeral home’s chapel on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at 2pm. Interment will follow in Llano Cemetery East’s Garden of Gethsemane.

Marion was born on May 17, 1947 in Amarillo, Texas to Hubert and Martha (Rogers) Hart. She attended high school in Wewoka, Oklahoma and was a graduate of Palo Duro High School in Amarillo, Texas. Marion was a bus monitor for Apple Bus Company of Amarillo for the better part of 15 years.

She loved to watch her “soaps”, crochet, color with her millions of coloring pencils/ coloring books and do puzzles. Along with watching her soaps, she found great joy in watching everything on the Hallmark Channel, and Dancing with the stars. She was a member of Redeemer Church in Amarillo.

Marion is preceded in death by her sisters Charlotte Losey and Linda Vaughn, brothers Hubert Jr. and Darrell Hart; and her parents Martha Rogers and Hubert Hart. Those left to cherish her memories are her daughter Katrina Morgan and husband Michael “Mike”, her grandbabies Kelston, Nakiah, and Adaejah all of Wolfforth, Texas. She also leaves her brother Dean, and sisters Geneva, Connie, Jeanie, Margaret, and Cheryl.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that a donation in honor of Marion be made to the Junior Diabetes Research Fund and the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
