Maximiano "Max" Valdez

Maximiano Valdez, 58, of Amarillo passed away on November 23, 2021.

The visitation will be on Wednesday, December 1 at 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. at Angel Funeral Home, 2209 S. Arthur St., with a rosary at 6:00 PM The funeral mass will be held on Thursday, December 2 at 10 a.m. at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 2500 S. Bolton.

Maximiano (Max) Valdez was born in Mexico on August 30, 1963 to Rafael and Socorro Valdez.

He worked in construction, and as the eldest of eight he was considered to be the one who held the family together.

Maximiano was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Benigno.

Survivors include; his wife, Maria Rosario Ramirez, his twin daughters, Aracely and Erika Valdez and his son, David Valdez. He is also survived by his sister Enedina Otero and her husband, his  five surviving brothers; Jose Guadalupe, Antonio and Wife Yolanda, Andres, Rodrigo and wife Lupita, and Tomas.
