Miguel, or My Boi as he was so affectionately named by his mother, was born on January 20, 2009 in Amarillo, Texas to Sara Leal and was a natural charmer right away. A loving, caring, and sweet boy who always had a positive attitude despite his many physical struggles. Miguel loved to be babied and cuddled by his momma. He had many favorite movies including Cars, Power Rangers, Ninja Turtles, Little Rascals, Wreck it Ralph and many more; but his all-time favorite was Coco! Being the only boy at home, he was adored by his momma and his three sisters. Miguelito was very much their pride and joy!
Miguel captured the heart of everyone blessed to have the privilege of knowing him. His smile alone could absolutely melt even the hardest of hearts, but his eyes were so captivating, they could capture your soul. Miguel's beautiful life was sadly cut short following his diagnosis and compromised immune system. However, when he did become ill and ultimately ended up in the hospital, his physical ailments did not stop him from having every nurse who cared for him wrapped around his finger. He loved him some nurses as he was a natural born heartbreaker! He has imprinted himself on the hearts of many and will never be forgotten, but always remembered. My Boi won his battle like a champion.
Miguelito is preceded in death by his Tia Susie, Tios Nano, Lito, Pete, Paul, and Cleo Sandoval. Those left to cherish his memories are his beloved mother Sara Leal, bonus father Paul Sandoval, his adoring sisters Selena Sandoval-Ramirez, Alexzea Torres-Sanoval, Senia-Lynn Sandoval; grandparents Percy Ceballos, Josie Sandoval, Jaime Gonzalez, and Sammy Sandoval. Those who will also be left to cherish his memories are his Tio Fabian Nava and wife Becca, God parents Ed and Alicia De Leon, Tias Margaret Saucedo, Elsa Gonales, Leora Morales, and Norma Ruiz, bonus family Christine and Denise Rarmirez, and special cousin who was like a big brother Juan Ruiz. Everyone who knew Miguel will always remember the fighter, the charmer, and just how truly special his pure heart was.
