Mikeal Donovan Fierro

Mikeal Donovan Fierro, 20, of Amarillo, was called home on May 2, 2024.

The family will receive guests at Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia, from 4 pm to 8 pm, on Wednesday, May 8, 2024. Funeral services will be held at Trinity Fellowship’s West Auditorium, 5000 Hollywood Rd., on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at 10 am; with Pastor Jeremy Swann and Pastor Kyle Wilkinson presiding. The family invites all who knew Mikeal to come celebrate his life. With respect to the family, if you ride your motorcycle, please do not rev the engine, do burnouts, or do stunts/tricks while at the visitation or service. Following the service, the family invites you to join them for food and fellowship at 1107 N. Grant St. 

Mikeal was born on June 16, 2003, in Amarillo, Texas, to Maclovio Fierro and Melissa Fierro. He loved his family, especially his beautiful daughter Aurora. He was multicultural, having lived in Hawaii, Florida, and Texas. His favorite times were at gatherings. He loved riding his motorcycle and hanging out with his friends. When not with his friends or on his motorcycle, Mikeal could be found fishing with a group of buddies or just by himself where he found peace. He was gifted athletically as well. Mikeal was an absolutely incredible wrestler, boasting many medals and other accolades. 

He learned to be a mechanic from his father. Mikeal had the gift of being able to make friends wherever he went. He was a protector who always defended the underdog. 

Mikeal was preceded in death by his great-grandparents. Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Amber Fierro, daughter Aurora Mae Fierro, mother Melissa Fierro, father Maclovio Fierro and wife Nancy, sister Malia Fierro, brother Gabriel Fierro; grandparents Richard and Esmeralda Fierro, and Richard and Phyllis Smart, and Luz Smart. He also leaves his Godfather Eric Scott, aunt Amanda Fierro, uncles Richard Fierro Jr and wife Joy, and Estevan Fierro; as well as many extended family and his many, many friends.
