Patricia Diane Riley

Patricia Diane Riley, 60, of Amarillo passed peacefully on July 8, 2022.

A celebration of Patricia’s amazing life will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2022 from 12pm to 2pm at Family Life Church, 3900 SW 58th in Amarillo. Arrangements are in the care of Angel Funeral Home, 2209 S. Arthur.

Patricia was born in Amarillo, Texas on November 28, 1961 to John Edward and Joyce Ann (Northam) Impola. From an early age, it was apparent that Patricia was the light in every room she walked into. Patricia was a free spirit. She was a very social person who people just seemed to gravitate to. Patricia loved music and good conversation. Her dynamic presence made her the life of every party. Patricia loved to be one with nature. She was a “Sun Child” who travelled as often as she could. Under the training of her mother Joyce Impola and Jim Williams, she was attuned Reiki master. Prior to her passing, Patricia was enrolled in college. She was always learning and evolving.

Patricia was not without faults. But she addressed those faults and faced them head on with the same light she gave everyone. She was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous for many years and celebrated her sobriety and recovery. She helped others in their journey and so selflessly gave her time and dedication to make sure others journey would be one of success. She was a caregiver. Whether it was her children, grandchildren, friends, or people in need, she would be there for you.

Most importantly, Patricia was a nurturer. Family was everything to her and nothing came before them. She was a great cook and loved to put together a good home cooked meal for all of them. She was “Momo” to her beloved grandbabies. She loved spending time with all of her grandbabies. Patricia truly loved her family more than life itself.

Patricia is preceded in death by her father and husband Jason Lyle Riley (9/2/2005). Those left to cherish her memory are her mother Joyce Impola, daughters Karman Rivali and Brandi Wrinkle, sons Jason Dillion Riley, and Billy Joe Hite III; sister Edina Cullipher, and brother John Impola and cousins Tracey and Kelly Pruett. Patricia’s beloved grandchildren Joel, Gabriel, Michael, and Sage; and great grandson Brantley will forever hold “Momo” in their hearts and keep her spirit alive.
