Paul Soliz

Paul Soliz, 36, of Amarillo passed away on April 11, 2021.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Angel Funeral Home, 2209. Arthur. Interment will be in Llano Cemetery East. Arrangements are by Angel Funeral Home.

Paul was born May 10, 1984 in Amarillo to Antonio Soliz and Elaine Martinez. In his early years, Paul played pee-wee baseball and loved spending his summers in Colorado riding horses and causing mischief. He loved the company of his family from Plainview, and he loved picking on and blaming his sister for everything. Paul loved camping and fishing with his family.

Paul is a Caprock High School graduate who loved football and powerlifting. He was voted class favorite his junior year and was loved by many. Paul became a father to Cameron in 2012 and to Carissa in 2017 and a bonus dad to Caleb. His children were his world and he loved them dearly.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Rupert and Marie Martinez and Paul and Consuelo Soliz.

Paul is survived by his parents, Antonio Soliz and Elaine Martinez; his children, Cameron, Carissa and Caleb; sister, Jennifer Soliz; niece, Krystal; nephew, Elijah; his best friend, Andrea; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
