Pedro Delgado

Pedro (Pete) Delgado Michel, age 62 of Amarillo, died January 15, 2023.

The family will gather to celebrate Pedro’s life in El Paso on January 28, 2023, at Alive Fellowship Church 5505 Will Ruth Ave., El Paso TX. At 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Anthony Memorial Cemetery in Anthony TX.

Pedro was born March 10, 1960 in Dell City, Texas to Epigmenio Michel and Isidora Michel.  He has been a part of the Amarillo Community since 1978.  Pedro was a gifted and talented craftsman and worked in construction for several local contractors.  Although he could do almost anything he was particularly good at concrete work.

Pete was a hard worker, but when he was not working his favorite pass time was riding his Harley.  He loved to spend time on the open road on his bike.

Pedro was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters Carmen and Marcelina Alaniz and by a nephew Jesse James Alaniz.

He is survived by his three sisters, Mary Clapper and her husband Robert of El Paso, Maria Contreras and her husband Jose of El Paso, and Beatrice Michel and her husband Brooks of Huntsville, Alabama; his six brothers, Jesus Alaniz of Dell City, Texas, Fidel Aguirre and his wife Graciela of Villa Ahumada, Chihuahua, Mexico, Jose Alaniz and his wife Lucinda of Lubbock, Texas, Celso Michel and his wife Maria of El Paso, Texas, Epigmenio Michel and his wife Naomi of Amarillo, Texas and Juan Michel of Copperas Cove, Texas; and by many other loving nieces, nephews and friends.
