Pegi Heaton Frisbie

Pegi Heaton Frisbie, 66, of Amarillo passed away on March 23, 2021.

Private family memorial service will held at a later date. Arrangements are by Angel Funeral Home.

Pegi was born to Lloyd and Lois Heaton on November 4, 1954 in Hereford, TX. She grew up in Adrian, TX and in 1965, she moved with her family to Gravette, AR. She married David Frisbie in Gravette, AR on October 7, 1972. The couple resided in Amarillo. At the age of 47, Pegi returned to school and enrolled in the nursing program at Amarillo College where she graduated with honors in 2004. She worked at the Amarillo Veteran’s Hospital and for Texas Tech until her illness forced her to retire in 2017.

Pegi was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, David; and a sister, Jo.

She is survived by her husband, David; four children, Elizabeth Parker, Chessie Frisbie, Andrew Frisbie, and Alexander Frisbie; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and two sisters, Caryl West of Gravette, AR and Phyllis Garza of Waco, TX.
