Randall Glenn Cogdill

Randall Glenn Cogdill, 67, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2020.

Randy was born in Amarillo in 1952. He joined the United States Army in 1971, serving his country for 22 years. Randy then retired after travelling the world as a nurse. His passions included reading, cooking and singing songs with his sisters. It was Randy’s wish that family and friends meet when possible to celebrate his life and have dinner “on him” around his beloved Dallas Cowboys football game. Randy will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor and his generosity. He will be sorely missed.

He is preceded in death by his father, Delbert Cogdill; daughter, Leslie Cogdill; mother, Rose Hadaway and her husband, Thomas; and sister, Pamela Jones-Smith.

Randy is survived by his daughters, Crystal Harris and husband, Ryan of Hayden, ID, and Heather Cogdill; sisters, Janet Warren and husband, Mark of Canyon, TX and Amanda Young of Amarillo, TX; brother, Roger Woerner and wife, Debbie; stepfather, Durward “Dad” Jones and wife, Connie of Reserve, NM; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and many nephews.
