Rene M. Longoria

Rene M. Longoria was born on April 3, 1971, in Gonzales, Texas, he was called home on November 14, 2020. Rene graduated from Palo Duro High School, class of 1990. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He spent most of his time enjoying the time with his grandkids and kids. Rene loved going on the road with his brother and shooting pool and listening to music, and laughing. He had the best laugh.

He is preceded in death by his mother Gloria Ledesma and his father Jose Longoria Jr., and both sets of grandparents. He is survived by his children Gloria Cheyenne Longoria (Zaneth), Rene Longoria Jr., Melinda Longoria, Justine Longoria and two grandchildren Yazmine and Abel Montgomery and the mother of their kids Rachel Sandoval.

Rene is survived by his older brother, Jose Longoria III (Nancy) of Amarillo;  sister, Virginia Gonzales (San Juan) of Austin;  and a younger brother, Francisco Ledesma of Austin; and multiple nieces and nephews.

Viewing will be held at Angel funeral home 2209 S. Arthur St. Amarillo TX 79103 on Sunday November 22, 2020 from 9am-8:00pm. Eulogy and Rosary will be held at 6:00pm
