Richard Chapa

Richard Chapa, 62, of Odessa passed away Thursday, May 31, 2018 in Lubbock.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 8, 2018 at Angel Funeral Home Chapel of Angels, 2209 S. Arthur St. Burial will follow at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Angel Funeral Home, Amarillo.

Richard was born November 19, 1955 to Juan and Louise Chapa.

He was outgoing, and very strong minded. There wasn’t anything Richard couldn’t do. He loved to work and loved his family.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Rita.

He is survived by 2 daughters, Shantel Nickerson and husband Keith of Amarillo and Victoria Chapa of Amarillo; 4 sons, Richard Chapa, Chris Chapa, Bobby Chapa and Jeremie Chapa, all of Amarillo; siblings, Carmen Chavera of Big Spring, Esperanza Trevino of Georgetown, Erma Carrasco of Tulia, Moses Chapa of Hereford, Juan Chapa of Louisiana, and Juanita Veta of West Virginia; inlaw, Lorena Martinez; and 18 grandchildren.
