Rick D. Thomason, age 68 of Amarillo died May 6, 2016.
A memorial service will be held at Angel Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at 11:00 AM. Jon Watson, Chaplain of the Amarillo Hospice of the High Plains will officiate. Arrangements are by Angel Funeral Home.
Rick was born March 9, 1948 in Lemesa to Kenneth and Jo Dean Thomason.
He retired from Bell Helicopter after twenty two years of service. Rick was a very loving husband and dedicated father. He enjoyed spending time surrounded by his family. Some of his favorite times were spent fishing or riding dirt bikes with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Donna; his son Robert Thomason and his wife Chrisy of Amarillo; his daughter Kendra Guerry and her husband Scott of Amarillo; his two sisters, Thresa Kight and Marilyn Bickel; five grandchildren, Samantha, Amber, Jimmy, Bailer, and Tegan; and a great granddaughter, Piper.
