Robert Gonzales

Mr. Gonzales, age 54, went to meet his Savior on Sunday, September 20, 2009. He was born to Jose F. Gonzales and Alcarita Gallegos Gonzales on May 7, 1955 at the Gonzales Ranch in New Mexico. He met his wife and lifetime companion, Manuela “Beni” Beltran-Gonzales in 1989. He worked hard all of his life as a mechanic. He was a lifetime resident of Amarillo and a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He was a good provider for his family and always lent a helping hand. His passion was working on classic cars and spending time with his family and grandchildren. He loved to make people laugh. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his mother in 1988, a brother in 1996, his father in 2005, a sister and a grandson in 2007.
Bobby is survived by his lifetime companion and wife Beni; six daughters, Renee Gonzales of Amarillo, Audrey Gonzales of Phoenix, AZ, Cruzita Gonzales of California, Pat Arredondo, Veronica Hernandez and Stella Enicinias, all of Amarillo; one son Michael Beltran of Amarillo; twelve grandchildren, one great-grandson, two brothers and five sisters.
