Roger Dean Blassingame

Roger Dean Blassingame, 63, of Amarillo passed away in his home on August 21, 2022.

A celebration of Roger's life will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at 3pm at Grace Church, 4111 Plains Boulevard in Amarillo with Pastor Scott Davey presiding.

Roger Dean Blassingame was born in Amarillo, TX on January 31st, 1959 to Frank and Estelle (Lester) Blassingame. He was an Amarillo resident his entire life.

Roger was an extremely talented martial artist as a young man and enjoyed fishing throughout his entire life. He was an amazing guitar player who loved Peter Green and Jimmi Hendrix. He was a huge fan of Nikola Tesla and one of the most intelligent men you'd ever have the privilege of meeting. He was an accomplished sheet metal worker for over 40 years and could fabricate things you couldn't even imagine. He was an incredibly loving father, an extremely loyal friend, and an all around amazing man with an extremely good heart. He made a huge impact in so many lives...

Roger was preceded in death by Jennifer Deanne Lee Blassingame (daughter), Frank and Estelle (Lester) Blassingame (father and mother), and Bill Blassingame (brother). Those left to cherish his memories are Ariel Danielle (daughter), Linda Darlene (sister), and 2 grandchildren, Ashton Dean and Aurora Deanne.
