Ronald Scott Russell

Ron was an aircraft mechanic for the United States Air Force, serving his time in the Amarillo Airbase. He was honorably discharged in 1968 and began working for Bell Helicopter as an aircraft mechanic and retiring in 2008. Preceded in death by Lloyd and Daisy Scott Russell and one sister Betty Lou Baker.Survivors include his wife, Marinita Russell; two daughters Anita and Diana; one son James Howard; one sister Wanda Cartwright; three brothers Vince Russell, Bob Russell, and Lloyd Russell; six grandchildren.Family suggest memorials be made to the Salvation Army, 400 S. Harrison, Amarillo, Texas 79101.
