Roy Edward Blaylock

Roy Edward Blaylock went to be with the Lord on January 24, 2020, he was 72 years old.

Memorial service will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at One Way Church, 206 E. 1st St., McLean, TX 79059. Arrangements are by Angel Funeral Home, Amarillo.

Roy was born September 11, 1947 to Thelma Jo Smith and Leroy Blaylock of McLean. He attended McLean public schools and graduated from McLean Hugh School. Roy was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and grandfather who always put his family first. He was a follower of Christ and witnessed to as many people as possible. He is preceded in death by his mother, Thelma Jo and his father Leroy Blaylock.

Roy is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Debbie Blaylock. They were married in Farmington, NM on January 24, 1976. He is lovingly remembered by his brother Sandy and wife Kathy Blaylock of Lubbock; son Ronnie and wife Nannette Blaylock of South Haven, KS; daughter Sheila Tucker and boyfriend Darron Wright of Amarillo; son William Tucker of Amarillo; son Roy Dale and wife Christy Blaylock of McLean; grandchildren Daniel Weaver, Kara and husband Steven Deal, Andrew and wife Amanda Quillin, Kristin and husband Scott Sieler, Reese and wife Jordan Blaylock, Brenton Tucker, Riley and wife Gabbi Blaylock, Dezaray Blaylock, Rance Blaylock, Breanna Blaylock, Rustin Blaylock and 8 great-grandchildren.

Roy’s love of Elvis, fishing, Waffle House, country music and the Lord will live on through his surviving family.
