Sandra (Sandy) Richardson

Sandra (Sandy) Richardson age 68 of Amarillo, Texas passed away November 15th at her home, after a long battle with cancer.

Sandy was born February 22, 1954 in Joplin, Missouri to Earlene Shuey. When she moved to Amarillo, Texas over 35 years ago, she fulfilled her childhood dream of becoming a barber and owning her own business. She started out in the original Tascosa Barbershop in Wolflin Village until the doors closed. Then later, she finally had her dream complete by having her own barbershop and carrying on the Tascosa Barbershop name. She enjoyed spending time with her loyal customers which many became close friends.

Sandy was a daughter, a sister, a mother, a grandmother and the title she was most proud of was being a GG to Micah Dawn Quinlan who she loves and adores greatly!

Sandy is survived by her girls (the twins), Eurena (Sissy) Marcum and husband Gary, and Chlea (Sis) Richardson and her wife Jennifer, and son Dakota; one granddaughter Danyell Quinlan and her husband Robert (Bubba); and one great-granddaughter Micah Dawn Quinlan.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother Myrtle Kohl, her mother Earlene Shuey, a brother Kenneth Lewis, and a sister Chlea (Suzie) Baker.
