Santos R. Rojas passed away on January 9, 2018 at his home in Amarillo, Texas.
Mr. Rojas was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on December 2, 1933 to Marcos Rojas and Maria Rodriguez. He later moved to Dalhart, Texas and worked 45 years without one safety violation. He worked for Rock Island Railroad, Cotton Belt, Southern Pacific and Union Pacific.
He married Anita Bell Vargas and together they had five children, Robert Rojas, Troy Rojas, Cassandra Rojas Santos, Lois Rojas and Mark Rojas.
Santos is proceeded in death by his wife, Anita, daughter, Lois Rojas and son, Mark Rojas.
Santos remarried Maria Chavarria and they had two children, Dora Chavarria and Isidro Chavarria.
Santos was a great father and proud grandfather and great-grandfather of Seth Fuentes, Alley Fuentes, Cy Fuentes, Zane & Minerva Rojas and their children Nila, Lanessa, Gisella, and Rudy III, Chantel and George Valon and their children Ricardo and Viviana, Brandon and Elizabeth Liles and their children Briley and Zephania, Brittany Liles and her children Xavier, Eric, Jr. and Elijah, Anita Christine Akin and her three children and Isidro Chavarria and his 3 daughters Victoria, Vennai and Marissa.
