Shanna Massey

Shanna Gay Massey of Amarillo, Texas, passed from this life on Saturday, April 27, at the age of 54 in Amarillo.

A memorial service will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at Angel Funeral Home, 2209 South Arthur.

Shanna was born in Amarillo, Texas, to Sheldon Massey and Pamela Frye and received her education in California. 

Shanna worked as a Pharmacy Tech. She most recently worked in customer service for the past nine years, which she found great joy in. She was very adventurous and often challenging; you could even call her fierce. She enjoyed listening to oldies music; her favorite was the Grateful Dead. Shanna loved her family, life, and her children. She was also the caregiver for her father, Sheldon. 

Shanna is preceded in death by her brother, Todd Massey; her son, Timothy McCullough; an uncle, Jack Frye; and father-in-law, Gary Locke.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Camron Lackey and his wife Jordan and Zachary Locke and his fiancé Efrain Duarte; her father, Sheldon Massey of Amarillo; her mother, Pam Hoverter and her husband Bill of New Braunfels; her aunt, Brenda Reese and her husband David; her uncles, Chad Hoverter and wife Christy and their daughter Lexi of Dallas, Eric and wife Erica of Albuquerque and Lyndon Massey and his wife Beverly; her grandchildren, Ean Phillips and Morgan Lackey;  a niece, Taylor Lemaster, and husband Tanner and their children, Liam and Rowan; and many loving cousins and friends,
