Sharon Ellis

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 3rd, at Trinity Fellowship Church.  Pastor John Love will officiate. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.Sharon was born on August 8, 1951 in Amarillo, TX, to Charles and Tommy Whitney.  She was born again, in Christ, August of 2009. Sharon always had an open door for those who needed support. She loved gardening, and fishing and most of all she loved her grandchildren. Sharon was a beloved wife, mother, sister and nana, she will be missed by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Tommy Whitney; her Grandparents Woodrow and Elma Byars and Reese and Maggie Whitney; her uncle, Jim Whitney and her aunt Beatrice Whitney. Survivors include her husband, David Ellis; her sons, Kelley Whitney of McKinney, TX, and Brady Morgan and wife, Lisa of Amarillo, TX; her daughter, Tamara Hubbard and husband, Ron of Amarillo, TX; her sister Sandra Blau and husband, Michael of Odessa, TX; her brother Danny Whitney and wife, Linda of Amarillo, TX; her grandchildren, Reggie, Haley, Whitney, Jamie, Cacie, and Tyler; her three nephews and six nieces. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to BSA Hospice, 200 NW 7th Ave, Amarillo, TX   79107.
