Sherrie Lynn Padgett

It’s with deep sorrow we announce that Sherrie Lynn Padgett, 58 our dearly beloved sister, aunt, and friend, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2022 in Amarillo, TX.

Sherrie was born March 4, 1964 in Amarillo, TX to Claude and Virginia Padgett. Sherrie started working at the family bar, Polly’s Pub, at the age of 13 to help her mother. Sherrie left Polly’s for a while doing odd-end jobs but returned in the 90’s and stayed there until her passing, Polly’s Pub was her life. Sherrie was the best dancing, drinking, and fishing buddy anyone could ask for. She could light up a room the minute she walked in it and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Sherrie is preceded in death by her parents Claude and Virginia Padgett, brothers Larry and Randy Padgett, and the love of her life, Carolyn Moore.

She is survived by her brothers Danny Ray & Michael (Wife) Armstrong, Terry Padgett, Jimmy Braunstein, and sister LaDonna Daniel all of Amarillo, TX, an Aunt Shirley Morgan of Booneville, Mississippi. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
