Sidronia "Maria" Valverde

Sidronia “Maria” Valverde, 94, of Amarillo, died on Saturday, September 30, 2017.
Rosary will be said at 6:00 pm today at Angel Funeral Home, 2209 S Arthur. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Our Lady of Guadalupe with Father Jose Gomez as celebrant. Arrangements are by Angel Funeral Home, 2209 S. Arthur, St. Amarillo, Texas 79103.
Maria was born on July 11, 1923 in Vera Cruz, Mexico to Juan and Maria Castelan. She married Juan Salazar Valverde in 1948 they moved to Amarillo. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Maria is survived by her daughter, Lupe Valverde of Amarillo; and three grandchildren, Antrae and Antonio Luster and Joseph Kane Valverde.
