Stanley Scott Wooldridge passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 10, 2016 in Canyon, Texas.
Stanley was born to Ozzy and Vera Wooldridge in Brownwood, Texas on November 18, 1935.
Stan was a master of cabinetry. He loved working with arts and crafts to buildings, large and small and made himself available to family and friends to help with any project. He served in the US Navy in the aftermath of WW2. He was also an adult Sunday school teacher at First Baptist church in Taylor, Texas and went on two missions to South America to build first a church and later a school. He will be missed by many.
Stan was preceded in death by his parents, his son Scott Wooldridge, his daughter Shelley Moran.
He is survived by his son, Sterling Wooldridge of Ruidoso, New Mexico; a sister, Jerry Simpson of Austin, Texas; a sister in law, Barbara Wooldridge of Amarillo, Texas; five grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
