Tilo Maes, 79, of Borger died January 15, 2013.
Rosary will be said at 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 19, 2013 and Memorial Mass at 2:30 PM, Saturday, January 19, 2013 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 201 St. Johns Rd., Borger, Texas. Arrangements are by Angel Funeral Home, 2209 South Arthur, Amarillo.
Tilo was born February 28, 1933 in Newkirk, New Mexico to Pablo and Tita Maes. He married Mary Helen Maes in December 1966 and moved to Borger in 1967. Tilo enjoyed dancing and won contests with the Jitterbug. He worked in construction. Tilo was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather and will be dearly missed.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary, 3 sons, and one daughter.
Survivors include, daughter, Sandra Salas, sons, Robert Maes and wife Marisa, Tony Maes, Ronald Maes, and Paul Maes, Sisters, Pauline Maes, and Josie Maes, and several grandchildren, great grandchildren and loving family members.
The family suggests memorials be made to Oliva’s Angels c/o BSA Hospice, PO Box 950, Amarillo, Texas 79101
