Vicente C. Treviño, age 53, of Amarillo, passed away Saturday, April 7, 2012 surrounded by his loving family.
Vicente was born on January 22, 1959 to Francisco and Dolores Treviño in Hereford. He married the love of his life, Paula Reyna on March 11, 1975 and together, they raised a beautiful family.
Vicente loved working on cars, listening to music, playing with his grandchildren and was a loyal fan of the Dallas Cowboys. His family and friends describe him as generous, loving and unselfish and said that he never met a stranger. He would give you the shirt off his back and never think twice. His grandchildren remember that he loved road trips and enjoyed taking them to various sporting events. He was a great man and will be terribly missed.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Joe Treviño.
Survived by his wife, Paula; 2 daughters, Evon and Carolyn Treviño; 1 son, Vicente Treviño Jr. and wife, Kim; 9 grandchildren, Jonathan, Isabel, James, Bryan, José, Nevaeh, Adam, Hannah and Jordan; his parents, Francisco Treviño and wife Maria and Dolores Castillo; 4 sisters, Rosemary Sherrill, Gloria Trageda, Lisa Rivas and Norma Ortiz; 2 brothers, Frank Treviño and Ray Treviño; 2 step-brothers, Augustine Coronado and Alvin Perez and numerous relatives who will forever remember him.
