Victor Cuellar, 57, of Amarillo passed away on February 18, 2022.
A celebration of Victor’s life will be held on Friday, February 25 from 6:30pm to 7:30pm at Triumphant Truth Church 1701 S Manhattan St, Amarillo, TX. Memorial services will take place at the church on Saturday, February 26 at 10am. Inurnment will follow in Llano Cemetery.
Victor was born August 22, 1964 in Amarillo to Jessie and Lucy (Hernandez) Cuellar. He attended and graduated from Caprock High School and would later attend Amarillo College.
Victor was a jack of all trades. Anything he took interest in, he excelled in. He specialized in steel framing, but he really could do it all. He was a proud member of Triumphant Truth Church. Victor was an avid sports fan and loved watching the Texas Longhorns and Denver Broncos play.
Victor was blessed with one son, Stone Alexander, and he ruled his world. His favorite place to be was with his boy just hanging out. Victor was the true definition of a “momma’s boy”. He always took care of her and when he wasn’t with Stone, he was by her side.
Victor truly enjoyed outdoor activities and family. He took great pride in the Cuellar name and loved all of his family; even the friends who became family.
Victor is preceded in death by his Cuellar grandparents, his Hernandez grandparents, his father Jessie; brothers Frank “Kiko” Hernandez, Tony Cuellar, and Jessie Tony Cuellar, and niece Pricilla McGill. Those left to cherish his memories are his beloved son and mother, sisters Linda Tijerina, Stella Baca and husband Ben, and Jani Tijerina and husband Armando, brothers Rudy and wife Patsy, Gilbert and wife Maria, Joe and wife Marcelina, Jessie Jr and wife Beatrice, and Charlie and wife Cynthia. Victor also leaves behind his many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and beloved friends.
