Victoria Dianne Roach, age 62 of Amarillo died Sunday, November 22nd in Amarillo.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, November 27th at 11:00 AM at the Village Park Church, 13000 Golden Drive. Pastor Ronnie Neomode will officiate.
Victoria was born June 24, 1953 in Childress, Texas to her parents, James and Jaine Roach. Victoria attended the Masonic Home School in Ft. Worth and later moved to Amarillo. It was in Amarillo where she continued her education in the Dietician and Nutrition Program at Amarillo College.
Victoria found pleasure working with the elderly in various nursing homes around the area for many years. She had a love for knitting and reading, but nothing surpassed her undying desire to help others. She cherished and loved her family and friends dearly.
Victoria was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ballard Johnson; a son, Sherwin Bernal; a sister Mary Banks; and by a brother Thomas Roach.
She is survived by her son, Stacy Evans; her daughter, Sabrina Johnson, her three brothers, James, Ray and Alfred Roach; three sisters Reba Vaquez, Betty Jones and Elizabeth Roach; fourteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren; her best friends for a number of years, Carolyn Wainwright; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Hospice Care of the Southwest.
