Vito Castellanos

July 2, 1979 — June 15, 2020

Vito Castellanos 40 years of age passed away peacefully on Monday June 15th, 2020.  Vito was born July 2nd 1979 to Jesus and Vivian Castellanos.  He was the 4th of six children.

He was a loving son, brother and the BEST uncle ever.  He attended school in Amarillo where he played football for Palo Duro High School.  He loved playing football and basketball and watching all sports.  He also loved watching Korean movies with his mother and father.  He was also an avid gamer and enjoyed beating his brothers and sisters and all his nephews and nieces at all games.  He was a very generous man.  He would give you his last few dollars and be left with nothing if you needed it.  He enjoyed playing tricks on his nephews and nieces and, as much as they tried they could never get him back.   If you ever needed to know anything about movies, music sports, or video game cheat codes we didn’t have to use Google because he was our Google for all those things.

He worked for Greyhound Bus for over 15 years.  He will be deeply missed, never forgotten and always loved.

He is survived by his father Jesus Castellanos Sr.  One brother, Jesus and Laurie Castellanos Jr.  Four sisters, Brenda and Nick Biscoglio, Vanessa Castellanos, Nina and Willy Lopez, Sara and Joey Rendon and many nieces and nephews. He is proceeded in death by his mother Vivian Castellanos.

Services will be held Saturday, June 20th at 1:00 at Tierra Santa church

Located at 1417 N.E. 15th Avenue in Amarillo, Texas.  It will be officiated by Pastor Efren Vasquez.
