Warren Ferguson
Warren loved working on ranches and competing in rodeos in his younger days. He has now taken the ultimate ride and gone home. He worked many years as a heavy equipment operator and as a cowhand riding pens at the cattle auctions. Warren always loved spending time with his many nieces and nephews. He really appreciated all the visits, calls and letters from his family and friends.
Warren is preceded in death by his loving wife, Carrol.
He is survived by his son, Dan Ferguson and wife, Rhonda; sister, Nina Zaborski of Tucson, AZ; brothers, Jack Ferguson of Rio Rancho, NM and Gene Ferguson of Chino Valley, AZ; brother-in-law, Jerry Light of Amarillo, TX; and sister-in-laws, Glenda Horney of Fort Sumner, NM and Manchie Weller of Bushland, TX.
The family would like to thank the Jan Werner PACE Program and the staff at the Ware Memorial Nursing Home for taking such good care of him. They all went above and beyond for Warren.
The family will hold a celebration of life later in the year.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to his beloved, Crossroads Country Church, PO Box 50608, Amarillo, TX 79159.
