Yolanda Moreno

Yolanda Moreno-Barba, 53, of  Amarillo, passed peacefully on August  22, 2024. 

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at Angel Funeral Home, Chapel of Angels, 2209 S. Arthur St. Amarillo, Texas 79103. 

Born on September 7, 1970, in Jalisco, Mexico, to Ramon Moreno and Maria Barba, Yolanda was a devoted Christian and a loving presence in the lives of those around her. Her kindness and unwavering faith brought comfort and joy to her family and friends. In 1991, Yolanda married the love of her life, Manuel Jose Mendoza. Their years together were filled with deep love and cherished memories, creating a timeless love story that will be remembered and celebrated for generations to come. 

Yolanda is survived by her children, Manuel, Marcos, and Rochelle Mendoza.

She is also cherished by her grandchildren, Melizza and Ayden of Amarillo, TX, Devonni, Damian, and Darien of Hooker, OK. She will also be remembered by close friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her father, siblings, and children. 

Yolanda will be fondly remembered for her nurturing touch, kind words, and unwavering encouragement. Her remarkable strength and grace were evident throughout her life, and now, her radiant spirit continues illuminating the heavens.
